The Job:

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Industry: Consulting / SaaS
Working Set-Up: Remote First (approx. 1 day per month in London)
Salary - £50,000-£60,000
Interview process: 2 stages

The Role:

We've partnered with a SaaS Consultancy who are on the hunt for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role, reporting into the Head of Technology, will focus on the maintenance and ongoing improvement of their SaaS platform. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to further develop your already established skillet across a variety of technologies.

This is an incredibly diverse role that will require you to undertake a number of tasks and responsibilities, including the mentoring of junior team members, managing the delivery of projects, and interacting with key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the maintenance and improvement of the companies DevOps practices, including automation of build, deployment, and release projects
Provide 4th line support to debug and tackle system and user related issues
Manage multiple cloud environments, mainly AWS, ensuring proper configuration and optimal performance
Recommend and implement best practice for DevOps processes and procedures
Manage the development and maintenance of documentation related to DevOps processes / procedures

The Person:

5+ years experience in a similar role
Experience working with AWS, Console, SQL, Docker, Git
Excellent communication skills - Written and verbal
Previous leadership / mentorship experience is highly desirable
Ideally a Batchelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent

Interview Process:

Video call with hiring manager
Face to face meeting with the team
