DevOps Engineer (Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes)
Up to £70,000 + bonus + benefits | Hybrid (1–2 days/week in London)

A UK-based bespoke travel company is hiring a DevOps Engineer to help modernise its cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role in a small, collaborative engineering team supporting real-world digital transformation.

About the Company

This award-winning organisation designs tailor-made travel experiences for clients around the world. As part of its ongoing investment in technology, it’s building out scalable, cloud-native systems to power the next generation of customer-facing platforms and internal tools.

You’ll join a small, agile DevOps team where your impact will be immediate and your expertise highly valued.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of automating infrastructure using Terraform, building robust CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and deploying modern containerised services via Kubernetes.

The role requires a strong mix of technical ability, delivery focus, and cross-team collaboration — especially with architects and developers across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform and manage services in Azure

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts)

  • Deploy, manage, and scale services in Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker

  • Work with architecture and software teams to define and implement scalable solutions

  • Set up monitoring and observability tooling (e.g., App Insights)

  • Support incident troubleshooting and continuous improvement

  • Contribute to documentation and technical standards

    Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

  • Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code

  • Practical Kubernetes experience (preferably within Azure)

  • Experience with Azure DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines

  • Familiarity with YAML, PowerShell, and automation practices

  • Understanding of Git and Agile delivery workflows

  • Must have existing right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

    Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of API management, microservices, or serverless architectures

  • Exposure to tools like SonarCloud, Postman, or Resharper

  • Experience with .NET Core/C# environments

    Benefits

  • Up to £70,000 base salary

  • Annual bonus scheme

  • Hybrid working (1–2 days/week in central London office)

  • 25 days holiday, rising with tenure + birthday off

  • Private medical insurance & health cash plan

  • Enhanced pension and life insurance

  • Generous staff travel discounts and access to wellbeing platforms

This is a great opportunity for a mid-to-senior DevOps Engineer looking to work on real systems in production, build with modern Azure tools, and be part of a supportive team in a company where technology is a strategic priority.

If you’re ready to make a real impact with your DevOps skills — we’d love to hear from you
