Senior Cloud Engineer - Azure - £550 per day - Inside IR35 - 6 months initial contract - Hybrid working - 3 days a week on site at London Euston. 

Our client, a key organisation in the delivery of HS2, are on the hunt for a Senior Microsoft Azure & M365 Engineer to lead the charge in designing, building, and securing cutting-edge cloud and M365 environments. You'll drive automation, and innovation-while making real impact across an organisation that's embracing the future of IT.

What You'll Be Doing - 

Azure & DevOps

Design and deploy secure, scalable Azure infrastructure.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Automate infrastructure using Terraform, ARM, or similar IaC tools.
Monitor performance, optimise costs, and ensure high availability.
Implement strong security and compliance controls across the platform.
Azure Networking

Manage VNets, subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, and hybrid connectivity.
Design and support secure networking across cloud and on-prem environments.
Azure AD & Identity

Own and manage Azure AD tenants, roles, access policies, MFA, and SSO.
Apply best practices in identity governance and zero trust security.
Microsoft 365 & Modern Workplace

Administer Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for secure device management.
Build and support solutions in Power Apps and Power Automate.
Integrate Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online into business processes.
Ensure M365 security and compliance aligns with company policy.

What You Bring -

Proven experience in Azure infrastructure, DevOps, and networking.
Strong hands-on skills in M365 administration and modern workplace tools.
Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Python).
Deep understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks.
Ability to lead projects and mentor engineers.
Clear communicator who works well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Team player with strong initiative and ownership mindset.
Analytical and adaptable - thrives in fast-changing environments.
