I am recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to work on a hybrid basis - 2/3 days on site, remaining time remote.

The role falls inside IR35 so you will have to work through an umbrella company.

Candidates must have extensive experience with AWS cloud, F5 load balancers and Firewall platforms (Palo Alto, CheckPoint).

Strong AWS is essential.

This role will suit an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in network appliances to join the clients growing infrastructure and DevOps team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, migrating and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure, with a particular focus on network and cloud environments.

This role requires advanced hands-on experience with F5, Palo Alto, CheckPoint firewalls, Zscalar and AWS, alongside fluency in modern DevOps tools and practices.

A solid understanding of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, routing, etc.).

Proficient with AWS services including EC2, ELB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3,VPC Lattice, Transit Gateway, VPN and more.

Practical knowledge of DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Terraform.

Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or equivalent).

Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance.
