Senior Technical Architect

Inside IR35, £640 P/D

Hybrid, 3 days on site per week in Milton Keynes

6 months, scope to extend

Active SC would be advantageous

We are looking for a skilled Senior Technical Architect to deliver secure, scalable technology solutions for a UK Government client. You will translate complex technical concepts, lead solution design and work closely with security, infrastructure and cloud teams.

Key Requirements

Experience in secure government environments
Strong technical background across Microsoft/Linux servers, networks, and:
Hybrid Cloud, Gateways, PKI
Email services
VMware (VCD, vSAN, NSX)
Cisco, Palo Alto, SASE
Ability to produce high‑quality architectural documentation (HLD/LLD, options assessments).
DevSecOps experience with CI/CD and automation.
Requirements management ownership.
Experience designing and migrating services to Azure/M365 and AWS.
Working knowledge of security tooling and auditing.
Strong understanding of NCSC, GDS, CIS, Cyber Essentials, NIST and UK government tech policy.
