Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Senior Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) with domain expertise in the Financial Services (FSI) specifically within the Banking and Capital Markets industry. As an FSI PSA, you will have the opportunity to shape our Industry solution strategy across our AWS Partner Network.

AWS partners include the largest software and systems integration companies, as well as hundreds of innovative software and services companies, who are using AWS as their cloud platform of choice. In this role, working with our consulting and technology partners, you will focus on shaping repatable industry solutions to line of business use cases, publish these across our Go-to-Market channels and evangelize these proven solutions at FSI Customers. In this role you will have a global remit to shape and publish repeatable Industry Partner solutions that can accelerate adoption of AWS cloud computing services.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical skill in software architecture, info security in FSI, compliance practices in banking or capital markets, software deployment and cloud computing as well as customer facing and technical sales skills at all levels of a sales organization. The ideal candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. The ideal candidate is an influencer by nature and must be seen as someone partners and customers are eager to engage with and have a strong hands-on approach. They will be the subject matter expert for the Banking and Capital Markets industry to become a trusted advisor to sales teams and customers, driving customer outcomes through partners. They will be responsible for accelerating customers’ cloud adoption in the industry, including core systems modernization, Trade platform modernization, Industry workflows with associated ISVs (Ex: intelligent document processing), risk compliance, and cyber event recovery.

AWS partners develop and deploy solutions for customers in the FSI industry including Insurance, Banking, Capital Markets and Payment System providers. AWS customers are developing some of the most exciting and innovative new businesses, and partners are using cloud technologies from AWS such as Agentic and Generative AI, data analytics, compute and storage to dramatically accelerate innovation. A Senior PSA will work across a global matrixed organization and navigate multiple partner capabilities as they apply these technologies to solve for the line of business use cases with repeatable solutions built on AWS.




Key job responsibilities
Work with partners and customers to develop top of funnel sales opportunities with Banking customers.

Partner with Account SAs, Sales, Business Development and service development teams to accelerate customer adoption of partner solutions through enablement, technical architecture, customer workshops.

Evangelize partners’ value proposition internally throughout AWS and externally with customers

Establish AWS as the partner’s preferred cloud platform for financial services solutions and services.

Work alongside the AWS Partner Development Specialists to develop extensive executive and senior management relationships within partner organizations and become their trusted advisor

Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful engagements with partners globally

Assist solution providers with the definition of technical strategies that will enable them to sell more of their offering on the AWS platform

Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community

Share customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS
