About the Opportunity

Our client is afast-growing global technology business operating at the forefront ofDevOps andDevSecOps innovation. Working with leading enterprise customers, they help organisations accelerate, secure, and scale software delivery across complex, cloud-native environments.

We are now looking to appoint a highly consultative, client focusedProfessional Services DevOps Engineer to join their collaborative and technically strong team. This is an opportunity to work directly with strategic customers, designing and implementing modernCI/CD andDevOps solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Requirements

You will be an experienced, customer-facingDevOps engineer with a strong background inCI/CD,cloud platforms,Linux, andtechnical delivery.

You should ideally come fromDevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, or broader Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) solutions businesses, with experience of supporting technologies that enable and improve thesoftware development process.

We are particularly interested in individuals with astable career history and proven success within relevant solution-led environments.

You will ideally bring:

  • 7+ years’ experience inDevOps,CI/CD, or a related engineering role
  • Experience gained within aDevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, or SDLC solutions provider, rather than an internal-only engineering environment
  • Strong experience withCI/CD tools and technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, artifact repositories, and build systems
  • Hands-on experience building software delivery pipelines across multiple ecosystems, includingJava, Node.js, and Python
  • A solid understanding ofinfrastructure and operations, includingcompute, networking, storage, and security
  • Experience withconfiguration management and deployment tools such asAnsible, Chef, Puppet, and Kubernetes
  • Strong hands-on experience inLinux environments
  • Experience working with major cloud platforms such asAWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Previouscustomer-facing experience, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience supporting bothon-premise andcloud-based environments
  • Exposure tosoftware architecture andsystem design would be advantageous
  • A strong learning mindset and genuine interest inopen-source technologies
  • Aconsistent and credible career record, demonstrating progression and commitment within relevant organisations

Role & Responsibilities

As aProfessional Services DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with enterprise customers to design, build, and optimiseCI/CD pipelines andDevOps platforms, helping them modernise software delivery and adopt best practice across their engineering environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with enterprise customers to design and implementCI/CD pipelines andDevOps platforms
  • Building and optimising pipelines using technologies such asDocker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Working closely with customerdevelopment andDevOps teams to support successful adoption of solutions
  • Designing and implementing build and release pipelines across multiple technology ecosystems
  • Collaborating cross-functionally withSales, Customer Success, Support, and Engineering teams
  • Deliveringtechnical workshops, enablement sessions, and customer training
  • Acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout their DevOps transformation journey
  • Providing feedback toProduct andEngineering teams to help shape future product direction
  • Staying current with emerging trends and technologies acrossDevOps,CI/CD, andcloud-native ecosystems
  • Building strong, credible relationships with customer stakeholders and internal teams alike
