THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Architect to join a UK client engagement on an initial 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in designing and building modern data platform solutions using the full Microsoft Fabric stack. The role operates outside IR35 and offers a competitive day rate of £400, with the flexibility of a hybrid working model from a London base.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Architect and deliver end-to-end solutions on Microsoft Fabric, including data ingestion, transformation, and serving layers
  • Design scalable, robust data platform architectures aligned to client requirements and best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and governance standards
  • Document architecture decisions and support knowledge transfer to client teams

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven hands-on experience designing and developing solutions with Microsoft Fabric
  • Strong understanding of modern data platform architecture and cloud-based data engineering
  • Experience with OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, and related Fabric workloads
  • Ability to engage directly with UK-based client stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-sufficient and able to hit the ground running in a contract environment
  • Comfortable with hybrid working, including occasional travel to a London office
