We’re looking for a hands-on engineer to develop test automation for electronics hardware, improving repeatability, coverage, and efficiency across development and prototype platforms. 

You’ll work closely with hardware and system teams to support verification and characterisation, taking ownership of automation from design through execution. Whilst previous experience with RF would be highly desirable, it is not essential and training is available.

Key responsibilities
Convert manual electronics tests into automated workflows
Develop and maintain Python test scripts and frameworks
Interface with lab equipment and capture, process, and report results
Support debugging and root-cause analysis with engineering teams
Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliabilityEssential Skills

Strong Python programming and software engineering practices
Experience in hardware or system-level test automation
Comfortable working in a lab environment with physical hardware
Ability to translate manual procedures into automated solutionsDesirable Skills

Exposure to electronics, embedded systems, or hardware testing
Familiarity with test frameworks, CI/CD integration, or lab instrumentation
Experience with wireless or communications technologies
