Embedded Software Validation Engineer (HIL / Automotive / EV)

Contract | Competitive Day Rate | Onsite

We are hiring an experienced Embedded Software Validation Engineer to support cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) and charging systems development within a high-performance engineering environment.

This role focuses on embedded software testing, verification, and validation using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems, ensuring delivery of safety-critical automotive software to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead embedded software validation and verification activities

* Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test frameworks

* Perform testing using HIL systems (dSpace preferred)

* Ensure compliance with ISO26262 / ASIL functional safety standards

* Conduct root cause analysis and debugging of system issues

* Support test automation and continuous integration (CI/CD) environments

Key Skills & Experience:

* Strong experience in embedded systems validation / testing

* Hands-on experience with HIL / dSpace tools

* Knowledge of ISO26262 / ASIL safety standards

* Programming skills in Python, C or C++

* Experience in automotive, EV, electrification or power electronics

* Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab, Jira or similar tools

Desirable:

* Experience with EV charging systems, inverters, DC-DC or AC-DC systems

* Knowledge of automotive networks (CAN, LIN)

* Background in real-time control systems
