Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote

Experience Level: Mid-Senior

Salary: £(Apply online only) per day

Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud providers. You'll be responsible for deploying backend and frontend applications, managing databases, and ensuring secure, reliable integrations across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Manage application deployments for both backend and frontend services

Set up, configure, and maintain databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)

Configure and manage API Gateway services for secure and scalable API access

Set up and maintain SMTP services for transactional and system emails

Manage and configure Azure Active Directory / Azure Tenant, including access and identity management

Handle DNS management, domain configuration, and traffic routing

Monitor system performance, reliability, and security

Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation (IaC)

Troubleshoot deployment, networking, and infrastructure issues

Collaborate with developers to optimise deployment workflows Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience with AWS Cloud services

Hands-on experience with GCP

Experience deploying and managing frontend and backend applications

Solid understanding of database setup, configuration, and backups

Experience with API Gateway (AWS API Gateway or equivalent)

Knowledge of SMTP configuration and email delivery services

Experience managing Azure Tenant / Azure AD

Proficiency in DNS management and networking fundamentals

Familiarity with Linux-based systems

Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) Nice to Have

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)

Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)

Monitoring & logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)

Security best practices and IAM management
