Trinity Business Support are currently looking for a number of Container Unloaders for our client based in Europort, Wakefield.

Due to an increase in business and new contract wins, our client are now looking for additional staff to join them on an ongoing basis.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the logistics process by ensuring that incoming shipments are accurately received, unloaded, and organised within the warehouse. This position requires physical stamina and attention to detail, as well as familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Duties

  • Load and unload goods from containers efficiently and safely.

  • Quality checking for damages / poor packing

  • Repalletizing products to be stored in the racking

  • Ensure accurate shipping and receiving processes by verifying the quantity and quality of items against shipping documents.

  • Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring that all materials are stored correctly for easy access.

  • Assist in building pallets and preparing items for storage or dispatch.

  • Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.

  • Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and maintain high standards of safety within the warehouse environment.

    Requirements

  • Proven experience in a warehouse setting, particularly in loading and unloading tasks.

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, with a focus on safety practices.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good timekeeping

    Shifts:

  • Monday to Friday

  • 08.00 - 16.30

  • 30 minute breaks

  • 40hrs working per week

    Pay:

  • £12.25ph / £490 per week

  • Weekly pay each Friday
