Job Title: Warehouse Loader/Unloader Specialist

Job Overview:

The Warehouse Loader/Unloader Specialist is responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of goods in a warehouse environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that products are handled safely and accurately, contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain and logistics operations.

Location: Bolsover, Chesterfield

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Available:

Monday-Friday Days: (06:00 AM - 06:00 PM)
Monday-Friday Nights: (06:00 PM - 06:00 AM)
Salary:

Base Salary: £12.21 per hour | Overtime: £18.31
Night Shift: £13.96 per hour | Overtime: £20.94

Key Responsibilities:

Safely load and unload products from trucks, containers, and pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand tools, adhering to safety protocols.
Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies before loading and unloading, reporting any issues to the warehouse supervisor.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyor systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational guidelines.(if certified)
Work closely with team members and supervisors to coordinate loading schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that loading and unloading areas are safe and free from hazards.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred, particularly in loading and unloading operations.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate handling and documentation of goods.
Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a warehouse setting.
Preferred Skills:

Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
A valid forklift certification is a plus.
Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing as part of the hiring process.
