£33,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5pm

Due to continuing business growth, our client, a global leader in their sector, are looking to recruit a permanent Logistics Administrator.

The role

As a Logistics Administrator, your role will be essential in managing customer orders, ensuring accurate documentation, coordinating freight movements, and facilitating the smooth flow of stock between departments. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will contribute to the efficient operation of our clients supply chain and enhance the experience of their customers across the globe.

Logistics Administrator Responsibilities:

Process customer orders, ensuring all necessary export paperwork, including picking lists, delivery notes, packing lists, and Certificates of Origin, are provided.
Coordinate freight collections with third-party forwarders, ensuring timely pickups.
Book sea freight containers and manage the timely dispatch of required documents.
Obtain air freight and courier quotes and ensure smooth dispatch, keeping Customer Services informed throughout.
Ensure stock levels are accurate and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Collaborate with Production and Quality departments to ensure the availability of required stock.
Work with third-party suppliers to organise and collect shipments from external warehouses.Logistics Administrator requirements:

Our client is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who is ready to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge of logistics processes and gain hands-on experience in a global setting. You'll have access to ongoing development programs and be supported in your journey through our comprehensive local and global training offerings.

What We Need from You:

Previous experience in a logistics or similar role is advantageous
Strong computer literacy, with a good working knowledge of MS Office
Experience using SAP S/4 HANA is a plus
Commercial awareness and understanding of business processes, including customs
A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills
