Technical Sales Consultant

My client is an excellent MSP looking for an experienced Technical Sales Consultant to join their expanding team. You will have a passion to work with clients / customers in a client facing environment. Providing support to the Sales Team in the development and acquisition of customer accounts. You will develop and sell multiple products/services from customer requirements and existing ideas, throughout the Broader Public Sector and Defence markets.  The focus will be on Government Security Classifications up to Top Secret.  You must either have valid SC clearance or be able to go through the vetting procedure.

This would suit a strong communicator with a passion for client satisfaction. Someone who can understand client requirements, look at improvements/gaps, new ideas to grow market share. You will have a strong technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in cloud computing environments, enterprise mobility services, information security and providing managed services to Public Sector organisations. Managing and assisting in the delivery of customer demonstrations of products and services, coordinating with product development and service resources to align product/service design with customers’ business requirements.

You will translate technical capabilities of a products or services into end user/customer business benefits , ensuring that all new services and concept documentation are successfully handed over to the Operations teams to ensure a smooth transition of service. Working with cross functional teams, outsourcing contracts, contract schedules, managed service commercial principles.

Experience of data driven technology stacks including Docker, Kubernetes and Kafka, data structures including both SQL and Non-SQL such as Elastic and Mongo, experience with programming language (Python, C#) .

The role requires someone with strong problem-solving skills and willingness to be ‘hands on’ to get the job done, initiative and pro-activity working with all levels and stakeholders. Working for an excellent client, offering progression and development working on with top clients in the defence sector. Any previous defence experience would be highly advantageous.

This is an office based role x 5 days per week in Stoke on Trent
