Our client is looking for a Technical Architect to design/architect an end to end AI Solution within Central Government Digital transformation - end to end AI Solution.

Based in London hybrid 2-3 days onsite, for 6 months
Rate £(Apply online only) pd Inside IR35/Umbrella

Design and architect end-to-end AI solutions that align with government digital strategies and the Technology Code of Practice, combining off-the-shelf components with bespoke code

Collaborate with senior technical stakeholders to define AI strategy and roadmaps for digital transformation initiatives

Role:
Ensure AI solutions integrate effectively with existing government technology infrastructure and legacy systems
Design scalable, cloud-first AI architectures following government security and data protection standards
Lead the selection and technical design of appropriate AI technologies, platforms, and tools
Develop documentation and processes for AI accountability and explainability
Present technical concepts and recommendations to non-technical senior leaders
Engage with external partners, industry experts, and academic institutions to produce architectural solutions fit for programme purpose.
Define and oversee prototyping and exploratory development at speed to explore and mitigate technical risks. Develop an ethos of rapid, collaborative change within the team.

Key skills/experience:

  • Experience and skills with Cloud architectureSomeone who can promote and socialise designs, typically part of it is getting people to agree the design works Being able to communicate and work with other architects, so able and confident to work alongside others and in teams as well as independently

  • Must have a minimum 5+ years of experience

  • Central Gov experience would highly desirable, those without will not be ruled out if other areas of skills are exemplary Mindset – used to agile/prototyping, need someone who can work experimentally and is comfortable/confident in doing so
