We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer on a contract basis to join our client in Reading, working on a hybrid model. You'll be contributing to high-impact projects involving Azure cloud services, cross-platform mobile app development, and API integrations - all while staying on the edge of innovation with AI-assisted development.

πŸ” What You'll Do:

Develop new applications and enhance existing software in a Microsoft-centric environment (.NET Core, Azure, etc.)
Design and maintain dev/test environments
Build and maintain APIs to support integrations
Develop cross-platform mobile apps using .NET MAUI
Use AI-assisted tools (e.g. Vibe Coding) to streamline development workflows and improve code quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs efficiently
Ensure compliance with internal security and quality standards

Frontend: JavaScript (React), jQuery, HTML/CSS
Backend: ASP.NET Core, MVC .NET, Entity Framework Core, C#
Database: MS SQL Server 2016+, T-SQL
Cloud & DevOps: Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Key Vault, CI/CD, Terraform, ARM Templates
Mobile: .NET MAUI
API: REST, SOAP
Data & Integration: SSIS, SFTP
AI & Automation: AI-assisted development (e.g. Vibe Coding), Azure AI services

Proven experience in full stack development (Microsoft stack)
Strong background in cloud-based development (especially Azure)
Proficiency in cross-platform mobile app development using .NET MAUI
Solid experience in building scalable APIs and services
Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
Prior experience with DevOps tools and best practices
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mentor junior developers
Knowledge of AI-assisted coding workflows is highly desirable
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
