This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client, an innovative, eco-conscious Technology Company, renowned for developing monitoring systems for Water Quality and Infrastructure. They are actively seeking a talented, environmentally-driven Senior Full Stack Systems Developer, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside a growing team of experts, based near the vibrant, multi-cultural town of Luton.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Full Stack Systems Developer include:

Leading a small team of industry and technology experts
Overseeing the production and deployment of the company's software products and services
Proactively monitoring the maintenance of the products and services
Taking responsibility for the long-term quality and security of the Source Code

Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Full Stack Systems Developer include:

Hold a Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar, relevant discipline
Demonstrable experience of working as a Full Stack Developer
Excellent working knowledge of full Software System Lifecycle
Experienced in Software System Design, Development, Testing, and Deployment Strategies for High Availability
Outstanding knowledge of Performance and Security in Enterprise Systems
Experience of working with networks: LAN & WAN/Internet and Security
Prior experience of Database Access Design and Application Optimisation
Demonstrable experience of working with Human Computer Interaction (HCI) in Software Systems, including Machine-to-Machine Automation Technologies
Previous experience of working with a Java-based Enterprise Middleware Platform
A particular interest in the environment

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Full Stack Systems Developer include:

Prior experience with some of the following methodologies:

  • Containerisation: Docker
  • MQTT, RESTful URL Data Integration
  • Deep Learning Neural Network Platforms
    Previous experience with Enterprise Linux Platforms
    Experience of leading/mentoring a team of developers
