We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master to join our existing experienced team.

What do we look for in a Scrum Master?

We are powered by brilliant people. As a Scrum Master you will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the following:

Main responsibilities

Facilitation and coordination of appropriate Agile events/ceremonies,

Operate within and suggest best practices/patterns applicable to the domain,

Bridge the gap between IT and business stakeholders whilst ensuring work is done transparently,

Effectively support the removal of impediments to team progress,

Liaise with other stakeholders within and outside of project teams, such as the client and other roles across the client’s wider business, to best achieve success,

Foster positive spaces for collaboration, negotiation and, as required, mediation to help weigh up the most valuable outcomes against conflicting opinions in a safe team setting,

Operate in a servant-leader capacity and encourage empowerment within the teams.

Support successful outcomes:

Meet customers’ needs from the outset and through continuous engagement, within SiXworks processes, standards, and policies and under minimal guidance.

Within role, support delivery of products responsively, flexibly, and efficiently.

Help ensure projects are delivered to quality, time, and budget, as reasonably achievable.

Remain transparent in adherence to methodology and approach.

This will include:

Experience working with BD, Business Analyst and requirements leads

Experience capturing, tracking and ensuring progress reporting is up to date.

Own the integration with test and delivery Identifying skills gaps , training and supporting recruiting.

Understanding, at an appropriate level, the relevant technology and security characteristics and solution options.

Developing an understanding of customers’ operational and business environments.

Supporting the design and delivery of innovative, secure solutions.

Assisting with initial project design, pricing and resourcing, if called upon to do so.

Help ensure that projects are delivered using the appropriate methodology as outlined by SiXworks processes, standards, and patterns.

Where required, reporting into delivery team leadership in line with project methodology.

Contributing to team introspection (for example, via retrospective events).

Ensuring that your knowledge, competency, and experience is effectively shared within the team.

Ensure maintenance and progression related training and competency in line with SiXworks processes and standards.

As required, providing support in the production of comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.

Ensuring compliance with in-place project guidelines against team and SiXworks processes, standards, and patterns.

Requirements for role:

  • A minimum of 3 years in relevant roles

  • Agile Coach

  • Has previous experience in multiple projects across multiple domains in a Software Delivery Lifecycle setting, holding the aforementioned responsibilities,

  • Preferably, has prior experience with one of the industry-leading BPM/Work Management technologies

  • Has prior knowledge of Agile Project Management tooling, such as those listed below, and has applied these across multiple domains/areas of business:

  • Atlassian Jira

  • Gitlab

  • Confluence
