Technical Project Manager, to deliver a document content system - Liverpool, Merseyside (Infrastructure) - up to £560 p/day inside IR35

We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a document content system Objective upgrade with good public sector background.
You must have an understanding of IT infrastructure as you will work closely with the internal technical team and the third-party supplier, Objective.

Key details:
•Start date: ASAP

•Contract length: 6-7 months
•Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Bootle office, one of which must be a Tuesday
Interviews will be during the week commencing 29th of September.

Essential experience:

  • Experience of working as a project manager in technologies, software, and hardware upgrades

  • Experience in identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and managing them through the project lifecycle.

  • Ability to plan, set deadlines, monitor progress, and manage tasks to completion.

  • Experience in managing multiple projects, competing deadlines and resources

  • A solid understanding of the infrastructure and hardware

  • A solid understanding of modern software development practices incl. DevOps

  • An understanding of the different phases of software upgrades.

  • Application of risk management principles during the management of work and when making decisions.

  • Qualifications

    • Certified Prince 2 Project Management

    • Agile PM (have or working towards)
