Solution Architect Financial services Contract Dublin. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Solution Architect to join their team on a rolling contract basis.

The ideal candidate should be interested in designing mission critical applications within one of the most interesting parts of one of the world's largest financial services firms.

You will be expected to as a Solutions Architect your main responsibilities will involve; you will be responsible for designing and documenting solutions to help solve complex business problems. Define and enforce architecture standards, coding best practices, and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines. Hands-on development of PoCs/R&D initiatives to validate technical feasibility and drive innovation. You will partner with risk, compliance, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Successful candidates will have at least 5-10 years of commercial experience in solution architecture or equivalent roles. You will have expertise in microservices/SOA design using containerized environments. You will have experience with high-volume ETL/data processing.Experience designing polyglot systems using different database technologies - RDBMS (SQL Server or PostgreSQL), NOSQL (ideally MongoDB).Experience with RESTful/GraphQL web APIs and async communication flows using (Redis Streams, Kafka etc.) If this role sounds of interest drop me a CV so that we can speak in more detail
