Our client is a growing Managed Service Provider based in Essex, delivering IT support, cloud, cybersecurity, and infrastructure solutions to a broad range of UK clients. They have built a strong reputation for technical excellence, customer service, and delivering modern Microsoft-focused solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.

What will you be doing?

Joining as a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a key role within the technical team, supporting escalated infrastructure issues while assisting with the delivery of cloud and infrastructure projects.

You'll work across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and virtualised environments, supporting a predominantly cloud-based client base. The role will involve Azure migrations, AVD deployments, server upgrades, networking projects, and mentoring junior engineers within the service desk function.

What will you need?

  • Strong experience within an MSP environment in a 3rd Line or Project Engineering capacity
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Experience supporting AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) environments
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and switching fundamentals
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies and virtual machines (VMware / Hyper-V)
  • Knowledge of storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
  • PowerShell scripting and automation experience
  • Experience using ConnectWise, PSA, or RMM tools within an MSP
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work directly with clients
  • Full UK driving licence

What would be desirable?

  • Experience delivering cloud migrations and infrastructure projects
  • Exposure to Ubiquiti / UniFi networking technologies
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection
  • Previous experience mentoring junior engineers or assisting with escalations
