We're looking for aSenior Infrastructure Engineer (Public Cloud) to join ourPublic Cloud Services Lab , where we design and deliver secure, scalable cloud platforms acrossMicrosoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .

You'll play a key role in enablingAPI-first services, integration platforms, and cloud-native solutions , supporting teams to deliver at scale throughautomation, reusable patterns, and engineering excellence .

ThePublic Cloud Services Lab provides centrally managed cloud services with a focus on:

• Security, scalability, and resilience
• Platform engineering and automation
• Developer experience and self-service platforms
• AI-driven efficiency and continuous improvement

We buildready-to-consume cloud services that make it easier for product teams to onboard, integrate, and run critical workloads.

*Design, build and operatecloud platform capabilities using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modernCI/CD pipelines

*Deliver solutions acrossAzure and GCP , supportingAPI Gateway and integration platforms

*Embedsecure-by-design principles across development and runtime environments

*Define and manageService Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs)

*Implementobservability, monitoring, and performance optimisation to improve reliability

*EnableAPI-first delivery through reusable patterns and developer enablement

*Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to evolvecloud platform strategy

*Mentor engineers and contribute toplatform engineering standards and communities of practice

*Experience designing and deliveringlarge-scale, distributed systems with strong focus onperformance, availability and resilience

*Hands-on expertise inInfrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

*Experience withCI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness)

*Strong knowledge ofcontainers and orchestration (Kubernetes)

*Experience withservice mesh technologies (e.g. Istio)

*Knowledge ofAPI design and security (REST, OpenAPI, authentication, authorisation, mTLS)

*Scripting skills inPython, Bash or PowerShell

*Experience defining and managingSLOs/SLIs

• Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Cloud Load Balancing
• Cloud Armor
• Istio (service mesh)
• Cloud Monitoring / Stackdriver

*API management tools (e.g.Apigee )

*CI/CD tooling (e.g.Harness )

*Secrets management (e.g.HashiCorp Vault )

*Monitoring tools (e.g.Dynatrace )

• Container tooling (Docker, Buildah, Podman)
  
  *Experience withNode.js for API tooling
  
  *RelevantAzure or GCP certifications
