Salesforce Solution Architect

Location: Warwick or Wokingham - Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Rate: TBC, likely in the region of £500 per day inside IR35

Duration: 6 months initially

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect to lead end‑to‑end architecture across major enterprise transformation programmes. You’ll define scalable, secure Salesforce solutions, guide technical teams, and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and define Salesforce architecture across complex, multi‑platform programmes.

  • Provide hands‑on direction across Apex, LWC, Flows, automation, data architecture, and security.

  • Enforce architectural standards and review designs for performance, scalability, and resilience.

  • Lead integrations with ERP, Billing, Middleware (MuleSoft preferred) and data platforms (REST/SOAP, event‑driven, async).

  • Drive security models, authentication, governance, and enterprise data alignment.

  • Run architecture reviews, workshops, and stakeholder sessions.

  • Support delivery, DevOps, release strategy, risk mitigation, and technical quality.

    Skills & Experience

    Essential

  • 8+ years in enterprise‑scale Salesforce architecture.

  • Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, security models, data architecture.

  • Strong integration architecture experience (APIs, middleware, async patterns).

  • Proven track record delivering large Salesforce programmes.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder leadership.

    Desirable

  • Experience in architect‑level Salesforce solution design.

  • Strong Salesforce data modelling capabilities.

  • Experience Cloud delivery experience.

  • Advanced LWC/Apex design‑pattern knowledge.
