AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

The AWS Global Data Center Supply Solutions Team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Portfolio Associate to join our Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) team, based in either London or Dublin. This is a high-impact role at the heart of AWS's rapidly expanding infrastructure footprint across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. As a Portfolio Associate, you will play a critical role in driving the day-to-day operations, administrative execution, and strategic oversight of our owned site portfolio. You will partner directly with the Regional Portfolio Manager, Head of Portfolio Management, cross-functional internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless portfolio performance aligned with broader business objectives.

Key job responsibilities
•Financial Operations & Compliance: Review, audit, and process acquisition-related payments and site invoices, ensuring alignment with internal policies, contractual terms, and compliance requirements.
•Contract Interpretation: Analyze complex commercial contractual language across acquisition transactions, ensuring accurate understanding of obligations and key payment milestones.
•Acquisition Lifecycle Support: Drive pre- and post-acquisition activities including funding requests, documentation transfers, security procedure development, and risk register maintenance to ensure seamless site transitions.
•Portfolio Data Management: Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and site-level data within portfolio management software, serving as a reliable source of truth for leadership decision-making.
•Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships across internal teams, driving alignment and delivering results through effective coordination and communication.
•Document & Contract Governance: Track and monitor all incoming documents and contracts against established KPIs, proactively flagging delays to maintain compliance and operational continuity.
•Workflow Management: Oversee the team's support request system, ensuring efficient triage and timely task assignment to meet service-level expectations.
•Strategic Administrative Support: Provide operational support to the Head of Portfolio Management and Regional Portfolio Manager, contributing to special projects and process improvements.
