2 x a month on site in Telford

6 Month + contract

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support the development, deployment and operation of cloud-native applications and platforms within an AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Build, maintain and support Kubernetes-based platforms.

* Develop and manage Helm charts for application deployment and lifecycle management.

* Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

* Support the containerisation and deployment of applications.

* Work closely with engineering teams delivering Java-based microservices.

* Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and observability solutions.

* Troubleshoot platform and deployment issues across multiple environments.

Essential Skills

* Kubernetes

* Helm (strong commercial experience required)

* AWS

* GitLab CI/CD Pipelines

* Containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)

* Microservices architecture and deployment

* Observability, monitoring and logging

* Experience supporting engineering teams delivering Java applications

Desirable Skills

* MongoDB

* Terraform

* Public Sector or Government experience
