We are partnering with a Insurance firm to hire an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead and evolve a modern, cloud-first Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environment. Head of I.T needs someone to support him and take some of the workload from him.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage a small, high-performing infrastructure team while remaining technically involved in engineering, escalations, and key projects. You'll play a critical part in ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable platforms that support business-critical operations and a modern digital workplace.

The Role

You will:

Own the Azure and Microsoft 365 infrastructure strategy and roadmap

*

Lead day-to-day infrastructure operations, service delivery, and BAU support

*

Manage and mentor a small team of engineers

*

Stay hands-on with technical delivery, troubleshooting, and implementations

*

Drive improvements across security, resilience, automation, and performance

*

Lead cloud migrations, modern workplace initiatives, and continuous service improvement

*

Manage third-party vendors, SLAs, and governance

Experience Required

*

Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange, and Teams On Prem to cloud migration experience

*

Proven infrastructure or operations leadership experience

*

Background in ITIL-led service environments

*

Experience managing hybrid/cloud estates and modern workplace technologies

*

Ability to balance strategic thinking with technical execution

*

Insurance or broader financial services experience desirable
