Infrastructure Engineer (x2)

Location: Sunderland, UK

Employment Type: Full-Time

Travel Requirement: Regular travel across the UK & Ireland (typically 3–4 days per month)

About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Infrastructure Engineers to join our growing Infrastructure & Security team. This is a hands-on technical role supporting the continued expansion of our business.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy a varied role involving cloud technologies, infrastructure modernisation, security enhancement, and business transformation initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Strong experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and systems administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Office 365 tenant migrations.
  • Experience migrating Google Workspace/Gmail environments to Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of switching, wireless networking, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience configuring VLANs and network segmentation.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and administration.
  • Experience working with modern security technologies and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage technical activities onsite.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Desirable

  • Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Microsoft 365 certifications.
  • Experience in mergers, acquisitions, or business integration projects.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online administration and migrations.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and security tooling.
