Full-Stack Developer – .NET + JavaScript
Location: Essex (Hybrid, 2 days onsite)
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000

We’re looking for a creative Full-Stack Developer who enjoys building clean, intuitive frontends just as much as writing solid backend code. This is a mid–senior level role (5–8 years’ experience) where you’ll join a collaborative team delivering a modern web platform with a real focus on user experience.

What you’ll be doing:

Developing and maintaining web applications with C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and SQL Server.

*

Creating engaging, user-friendly interfaces with JavaScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).

*

Owning the look, feel, and usability of products, ensuring they’re not just functional but visually sharp.

*

Designing and consuming REST APIs to connect services.

*

Profiling, debugging, and optimising for performance and scalability.

*

Working with designers and stakeholders to bring ideas to life, from whiteboard sketches to finished features.

What we’re looking for:

*

5–8 years’ commercial development experience.

*

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

*

Strong skills in C#, ASP.NET Core/MVC, SQL.

*

Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and a genuine flair for UI/UX.

*

Solid grounding in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JSON.

*

Awareness of web security principles (OWASP).

*

Ability to take ownership, work independently, and collaborate in a close-knit team.

Nice to have:

*

Exposure to IIS, Azure, or AWS.

*

Experience with design systems or prototyping tools.

*

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Why apply?

*

Salary £50,000 – £70,000 DOE.

*

Hybrid role (2 days onsite in Essex).

*

Direct impact on shaping products with freedom for creativity in UI/UX.

*

Opportunity to work across the stack with autonomy and ownership
