Your new company
I'm recruiting a Full Stack .Net / Angular Developer on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract basis (with potential for extension). It's working for a forward-thinking public services organisation that is investing heavily into modernising their technology platforms.

You'll be based from their head office in Basingstoke 3 days per week.

Your new role
The role is centred around enhancing business-critical applications and reducing technical debt. Reporting directly into the SW Engineering Manager the role has autonomy and a strong pipeline of
project work to get involved with.

You'll be developing secure, scalable applications using Angular, TypeScript, ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework, whilst working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Alongside development work, you'll contribute to architecture decisions, support DevOps practices, mentor colleagues and help establish high engineering standards across the team, this extends to mentoring 2 existing developers currently working on legacy stack and helping them move onto the modern web technologies.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll have significant experience working in a full-stack development position within a Microsoft technology environment. Strong experience with Angular (V20+), TypeScript, RxJS, C#, ASP.NET Core Web APIs and Entity Framework are the essentials.

You'll be comfortable working with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices. Experience with Azure Service Bus, SQL Server optimisation and highly integrated enterprise systems would be advantageous.

You'll also possess excellent problem-solving capabilities, be confident communicating technical concepts to a range of audiences and have the ability to lead by example when it comes to coding standards, architecture and development best practice.

What you'll get in return
