Business Analyst - Data, Migration, GCP

My client is seeking a highly technical Business Analyst to support a major Data & Analytics transformation programme. This role will focus on moving complex on‑premise data products and workflows onto a modern, cloud‑native platform.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Technical or Data-focused Business Analyst with expertise in cloud migration programmmes.
Hands-on experience delivering detailed functional and non-functional requirements across areas like security, data governance, resiliency, DR, and operational continuity.
Comfortable turning complex business and analytical needs into clear user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria (ideally using Jira).
Confident running workshops, technical sessions, and stakeholder interviews across both technical and business teams.
Good understanding of cloud data platforms, data governance, security controls, and integration patterns (Azure/GCP experience is a bonus).
Strong backlog and Kanban management skills, with the ability to support prioritisation and dependency management across multiple teams.
Excellent communicator who can bridge conversations between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Familiar with traceability, change control, and wider solution governance.
Nice to have:

Experience shaping cloud operating models or defining new Ways of Working.
Background in large-scale transformation programmes or significant data migration work.
An understanding of the data product lifecycle and cloud-native delivery standards.
