Job Title: Warehouse/Yard Operative

Location: Ashford, Kent (You MUST be a driver with your own transport due to location)

Salary: £27,040 - £29,120

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.30pm

Our Client:

A well-established distributor with a strong reputation for supplying high-quality products to customers across the UK and Europe.

The Role:

Your responsibilities will include tasks such as unloading deliveries, inspection of products and packaging finished goods.

Free parking on siteKey responsibilities within your new role would be to:

Handball or use a forklift to unload incoming shipments and containers.
Pick items as per customer orders.
Pack products carefully to avoid damage during transport.
Label and wrap orders ready for distribution.
Palletise deliveries ready for courier collection.
Communicate any damages, stock discrepancies and stock shortages.
Store stock away correctly.
Conduct quality checks on incoming products.
Move stock around the warehouse to ensure a tidy working environment.
Deliver products to customers using the company vehicle. Experience and skills required for this position:

You will need to be a driver due to location and have a clean licence.
You will need to be above 25 due to vehicle insurance.
You will have experience using a forklift (an in house or expired licence will be accepted)
Previous warehouse experience
