Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Yard Operative to join our client based in Aldridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team in a hands-on, active role involving both indoor and outdoor work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operating FLT counterbalance
Carry out stock rotation using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method
Load and unload vehicles and containers, ensuring all stock movements are documented accurately
Conduct general warehouse and yard duties
Ensure all vehicle loading complies with company procedures and legal transport regulations
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment, both indoors and outdoors
Keeping the workspaces in the warehouse clean and tidy
Comply with all Health & Safety and Quality regulations
Work collaboratively with the production team to support smooth operations and communication
Positively contribute to business performance and ongoing improvement initiatives

Skills

Valid FLT License Counterbalance is essential
2 yrs experience on the FLT
Production experience
Computer literate
Team player
Good Communication skills
Comfortable working in a complex, challenging and fast-paced environment
