Forklift Drivers required for 4 on 4 off shift!

Salary: £14.46 per hour, weekly paid

Shifts: 4 on 4 off, 6am - 6pm, 1pm to 1am

Key Responsibilities:

Forklift Operation: Operate forklift truck and move freight around the warehouse, ensuring goods are stored correctly and safely. This includes transporting goods to and from staging areas, loading docks, and storage locations.
Freight Handling: Safely load and unload freight from trucks or containers, ensuring that all goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by properly placing and scanning goods into the warehouse management system (WMS). Participate in regular stock counts and audits.
Order Fulfilment: Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards. Ensure that all orders are accurate and ready for dispatch on time.
Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety protocols and warehouse procedures, including conducting pre-operation checks on the reach truck and reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards. Assist with the organization of goods to maximize space and improve efficiency.
Documentation: Accurately document all goods moved, received, or dispatched using handheld devices or warehouse management systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff, freight handlers, and logistics coordinators to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Requirements:

Experience as a forklift operator.
Valid counter balance certification is required.
Checkable 5-year history and a clean DBS.
Knowledge of freight handling and international shipping procedures is an advantage
Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
