Are you a senior-level problem solver with a deep technical skillset and a passion for delivering cutting-edge IT solutions?

Our client is seeking an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their growing team in Putney. This is a hands-on role for someone with solid MSP experience who thrives on complex problem-solving, infrastructure design, and driving technical excellence across Microsoft cloud environments.

As a senior technical point of escalation, you’ll take ownership of advanced support requests, lead project implementations, and help shape the evolution of clients’ IT systems to ensure performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues across client environments.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced incidents involving networking, infrastructure, cloud services, and security.

  • Deliver and support Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune deployments.

  • Manage advanced configurations within Azure (VMs, networking, conditional access, security policies).

  • Lead infrastructure and cloud migration projects end-to-end.

  • Implement and maintain monitoring, automation, and compliance tools.

  • Support and mentor 1st/2nd line engineers, providing guidance and technical leadership.

  • Maintain and improve documentation, standards, and best practices.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal systems and processes.

    Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an MSP environment (essential).

  • Strong technical expertise across:

  • Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)

  • Azure Active Directory & Conditional Access

  • Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager

  • Microsoft Defender security suite

  • Deep troubleshooting skills across networks, infrastructure, and applications.

  • Experience with firewall management, routing, and VPN configuration.

  • Skilled in automation/scripting (PowerShell preferred).

  • Comfortable managing both remote and on-site support for diverse client environments.

    Desirable Skills:

  • Microsoft certifications (MS-100, AZ-104, MD-102 or equivalent).

  • Google Workspace and hybrid cloud experience.

  • Familiarity with Autopilot, device provisioning, and MDM policy creation.

  • Exposure to virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) or backup/disaster recovery platforms.
