Role: Solutions Architect
Location: UK (including travel to London once a month)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
Network IT are looking for an exceptional Solutions Architect who come from a technical background of applications, systems, and software development. This individual will utilise their experience and technical knowledge of the above in conjunction with their fantastic stakeholder management and wider strategic expertise.
This role currently is a remote role with the expectation that you travel to their Central London office once a month (expensed).
Role Overview
Our client are undertaking a significant application replacement programme to ensure the application environment which is critical to how they operate is maintained and is utilised to the highest standards. The successful candidate will have a technical background of software coding or low-code, alongside a willingness to get involved with commercial, off-the-shelf products.
You’ll co-own the technology roadmap, influence architecture decisions, and enable scalable, secure, and well-integrated solutions across a range of services.
Key Responsibilities

Design and govern technical architecture across systems and cloud platforms
Maintain alignment with the organisation’s technology roadmap, working alongside a second Solution Architect
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, product needs, and technical implications
Translate business and product requirements into scalable, secure solution designs
Lead technical design sessions and ensure clarity in decision-making across delivery teams
Champion architectural standards and best practices, including DevOps methodologies
Support smooth rollout of new systems, ensuring technical architecture is embedded in delivery programmesExperience Required

Strong experience designing solutions architecture across cloud and legacy systems
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, capable of operating at all organisational levels
Industry certifications (e.g. TOGAF, ITIL) or equivalent experience in solutions architecture
Proven ability to guide technical product design, roadmap ownership, and cross-functional collaboration
Experience working in agile or DevOps environments
