Location: Northampton (or Knutsford for local candidates) Hybrid Working: 2 days a week on-site Salary: Up to £70,000

Key Responsibilities

Architect solutions that align with business needs, modern engineering, and automation.
Maximise cloud potential using serverless, containerisation, and smart workload placement.
Design secure, resilient systems that meet best practices and governance standards.
Support operational teams in diagnosing and resolving performance issues.
Provide critical architectural input for compliance and governance, leading complex projects and mentoring team members.
Offer expert advice on intricate problems and develop policies to mitigate risk and enhance governance.
Own risk management and controls, supporting business-aligned strategies.Experience & Skills Required

Proven track record architecting modern distributed systems.
Strong stakeholder management and decision-making skills, adept at navigating complex trade-offs.
Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Functional knowledge of financial services (banking, cards, loans).
Expertise in creating transitional architectures integrating legacy systems.
