Engineering Manager | £78K–£93K + Equity | Bristol | Hybrid

SR2 are exclusively hiring for a long term Bristol-based client, they are a purpose-driven fintech with a mission to make the world of investments more sustainable. They’ve built a brilliant SaaS platform that’s empowering change within the world of Investments— and they’re just getting started.

They’re now hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead one of their cross-functional squads. You’ll work closely with product and design, guide architecture, support modern engineering practices, and help a talented team of engineers thrive.

The tech they're using (for context – not a checklist):

Go (Golang) microservices
React, TypeScript
AWS, EKS, Terraform, Skaffold
GitLabCI, CloudWatch, X-Ray

You’ll need:

A background in software engineering with strong technical depth
Experience leading or managing engineers (formal or informal)
Skills in architectural decision-making and mentoring engineers
Ability to conduct code reviews, help engineers achieve goals and adhere to best practices
Empathy, clarity, and confidence when guiding cross-functional teams
A desire to work in a company that puts values at the heart of everything
