Senior Front End Developer - React.js Developer
West Hove, East Sussex offices - 4 days in office, 1 day per week remote after probation
Salary up to £75k plus benefits depending on your experience
My client are a UK SaaS company building an enterprise scale Data Analytics platform for their global customer base. They are looking to recruit a Software Engineer with good experience of building web UIs using React.js
This role will involve developing React applications for existing client systems and multiple new Greenfield projects for their customers, ensuring that their clients and stakeholders are always accessing performant, engaging, well-written software.
This role is working 4 days per week in their lovely offices in West Hove (1 day remote), paying to £60k per annum
As an experienced Software Engineer with good React/TypeScript experience you will work an environment that rewards dedication, hard work and getting stuck right in.
They use React.js & TypeScript with other tools (Tailwind CSS) to build highly scalable, performant Web Frontend systems for our platform that provides extremely customisable reporting services on many Terabytes of data every single day for each customer. There are opportunities to work on Full stack projects as well if you want.
This role is open to mid-level and senior level developers and the successful candidate will be passionate about Software Engineering, especially with well written, scalable code.
Skills and experience:

  • At least 5 year's commercial experience
  • Strong experience of React.js
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and / or JavaScript
  • Capable using HTML and Tailwind CSS or similar tool
  • Developing applications in React including component design and state management for specific use cases
  • General understanding of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines and the willingness to learn more
  • Basic experience with AWS platform
  • Comfortable using version control, primarily Git
