Are you a seasoned developer ready to take full ownership of business-critical systems and web platforms? We’re recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking construction fit out company seeking a Senior Developer to lead the evolution of their internal tech ecosystem.

The Opportunity

This is more than just a coding role. You’ll be the technical linchpin behind a custom-built internal platform (PHP Laravel + PostgreSQL) and a suite of WordPress-based websites. From system architecture to hands-on development, you’ll shape the tools that power day-to-day operations across sales, design, and project delivery teams.

You’ll also play a pivotal role in mentoring junior developers, leading code reviews, and scaling the development function as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of internal systems using PHP (Laravel), PostgreSQL, and Azure Blob Storage

  • Maintain and optimize WordPress websites, plugins, and themes

  • Administer Linux-based environments and manage Dockerized applications

  • Configure and secure Nginx web servers and troubleshoot DNS/firewall issues

  • Implement Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve system efficiency and user experience

  • Document architecture and processes to ensure maintainability

  • Mentor junior developers and foster a high-performance engineering culture

    What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of PHP (Laravel) and PostgreSQL experience

  • Deep understanding of ERP/CRM systems and business process automation

  • Strong Linux, Docker, and Nginx expertise

  • Proficiency in Git workflows and modern development practices

  • Experience with WordPress development and administration

  • Knowledge of DNS, domain management, and network security

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, PowerApps, and data migration tools (Azure Data Factory, SSMA, SSIS)

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Calm, professional demeanor under pressure
