Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote (UK-based)

Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum
Client: Leading Data Centre Provider

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established Data Centre Provider, seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. This is a remote-based role (UK only), offering the chance to work at the heart of digital infrastructure while driving automation, reliability, and secure delivery across complex systems.

You'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing cloud and virtual infrastructure, supporting deployment pipelines, and ensuring robust security and operational standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong collaboration across development, operations, and security teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimise AWS cloud services and VMware virtual infrastructure
Automate deployments, testing, and infrastructure using scripting and CI/CD tools
Configure networking components including VPNs, VPCs, and cloud integrations
Ensure security compliance (ISO 27001) and support vulnerability remediation
Oversee software deployments, backups, and monitoring strategies
Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to embed DevOps practices
Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and procedures

Required Experience

Proven experience in a senior DevOps role, ideally within infrastructure-heavy or data centre environments
Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, VMware, and CI/CD tooling
Solid understanding of networking and security principles
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Must be eligible for SC (Security Check) clearance

Paying up to £90,000, depending on experience.

100% remote based role.

Must be eligible to work in the UK
