Product Owner - Engineering Platform - Leeds (Hybrid working) - Inside IR35

My client a leading Telecoms company is looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of a modern engineering platform that accelerates developer productivity and supports a major transformation roadmap. You'll work closely with multiple engineering teams, architects, and stakeholders to define platform capabilities and ensure technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Define and communicate the platform vision and maintain a strategic roadmap.
Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
Own and prioritise the product backlog; write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Drive delivery of secure, scalable solutions with engineering teams.
Champion best practices (CI/CD, DevSecOps, cloud-native principles).
Monitor platform performance and developer satisfaction for continuous improvement.Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager in platform engineering or DevOps.
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
Agile experience with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.Desirable:

CSPO or equivalent certification.
