Role: Materials Handler

Rate of pay: £14.00-£15.00/hr

Hours of work: 12 hours shifts (6am-6pm/6am-6pm) 4 on 4 off (2days/2nights)

Location: Wakefield WF2

First Choice are recruiting on behalf of our client, an international manufacture of aluminium food containers. We are looking for a Materials Handler/Machine Operator with experience on Counterbalance FLT, ideally with B2 category licence.

Training will be provided for the role, however previous experience in a similar role, especially in a manufacturing environment, would be preferred.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • FLT Counterbalance operating (category B1 & B2 machines)

  • Loading/unloading income and outgoing loads

  • Machine Operation including baler, wrapping/strapping machines

  • General housekeeping

  • General warehouse duties

  • Working to high standards of Health & Safety at all times
