Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Birchwood, Warrington (WA3 6PJ)
Salary: £28,000- £29,000 (DOE)
Shifts: Monday- Friday 07:30- 16:00
Contract Type: Permanent

Our client operates one of the world's most advanced and sustainable biorefineries. By using natural, renewable raw materials, they produce advanced and environmentally friendly biochemicals.

As a Production Operative your duties will be: -

" Manufacture of liquid and powder blends, including packaging, storage, and distribution.
" Assist with warehouse duties: loading/unloading, order picking, stock control.
" Operate production equipment: pumps, mixers, agitators, powder blenders, bagging machines.
" Use of FLT to move palletised goods and handle containers.
" Operate bailing machines, industrial cleaners, lifting equipment.
" Use IT systems including SAP for despatches, stock movement, and material scheduling.
" Interact with on-site contractors and oversee their compliance.
" Report faults to the Maintenance Manager.
" Maintain high housekeeping standards and observe company rules.
" Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold quality and EHS standards.

The successful Production Operative will have the following skills: -

" Previous experience in a similar production/warehouse role.
" FLT Counterbalance Licence (C/B) - Required.
" IT Literate - SAP experience desirable but not essential.
" Works well as part of a team as well as individually.
" Good attention to detail.
" Effective communicator both written and verbal.
