Global, enterprise level SaaS product company (500+ staff), are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a specialist team, with strong emphasis on SRE as an engineering function focused on architecture, design & automation in a Java coding environment.

You’ll definitely be more on the “Dev” side of things & it’s highly likely that you’ll have come from or be a Java developer. In fact, this would be an excellent opportunity for a strong & experienced Java Developer, looking to move more toward “Devops”, with a platform engineering / SRE career path, utilising AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.

Exceptionally strong, UK based, but global software company, with excellent stability, vision & structure – you will join a strong & cohesive team, focused on technical excellence.

Job title: “Devops” Engineer. Aka: SRE or Platform engineer.

Location: London office HQ, but this is largely a remote role. 1 day per month in the office for a team day, rest can be from home.

Salary: £70K - £80K + 10% Bonus + Excellent benefits package

What we’d need to see in your skill set, to be considered:

 - Hands on Java development & coding experience. 

 - Any experience of Kubernetes

 - Commercial experience with Linux. 

 - Experience with git version control system 

What would be an advantage & to give you an idea of what you’d be working in:

 - Experience with infrastructure as code approach to managing deployments. 

 - Familiarity with configuration and deployment management (Scripting, Virtualisation, AWS, Unix, Java, Databases, Kubernetes, Docker etc). 

 - Experience working in a compliant systems environment such as ISO 27001, SOC or PCI-DSS 

 - Incident, change & problem management experience. 

 - Knowledge of SQL relational databases
