Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of the world’s leading financial institutions for a highly experienced Infrastructure Programme Manager.
 
In this role, you will lead a team of skilled Project Managers, overseeing both their performance and development. You’ll be responsible for the successful planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness. These projects will typically involve areas such as cloud migrations, data centre transformations, server and storage upgrades, network modernisation, and enterprise platform rollouts.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of a portfolio of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Align project planning and execution with departmental strategy and budget.
Provide leadership and direction to a team of Project Managers, driving performance and development.
Manage stakeholder communications, project governance, and executive reporting.
Oversee project resourcing, vendor engagement, and adherence to delivery frameworks.
Monitor project progress, risks, and benefits to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of project management practices and frameworks. 
Skills & Experience Required:

10+ years’ experience delivering IT infrastructure programmes within financial services.
Strong portfolio, programme, and project management skills with end-to-end delivery expertise.
Proven ability to manage budgets, risks, stakeholders, and executive reporting.
Deep understanding of change management, governance, and project controls.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience leading high-performing teams. 
Package & Benefits:

£120,000 base salary
20% performance bonus
Hybrid working model – 3 days per week in central London
