HGV Class 2 Driver.

Location: Wrexham.

Salary: £40,000 Basic pa + quarterly Bonus.

Shifts/Hours: 4 on 4 off Shift, 12 hours per shift.

HGV Class 2 ADR Driver2, Duties/Responsibilities:

  • To collect Healthcare waste from Hospitals or Transfer Stations in a safe and professional Manner
  • To load and unload the vehicle waste containers at each customers location and on arrival back to site, in line with company policies and procedures
  • To be the Company Ambassador for Company when liaising with customers at their establishment
  • To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift
  • To carry out vehicle safety checks at the beginning and at the end of each shift
  • To report any non-conformities / near misses to their line manager
  • To report vehicle defects to their line Manager / Shift Supervisor
  • To attend team briefings/drivers meetings etc
  • To contact site during the shift about any possible issues or delays resulting in missed collections
  • To keep all vehicles assigned to them clean and tidy
  • To refuel all assigned vehicles at the end of the shift
  • Ensure that all loads are secure and safe before travel.
  • To use the PDA mobility on each collection.

    Essential Skills:
  • ADR Class 6.1/6.2 (or willing to obtain one).
  • C+E or C Licence.
  • Driver qualification card (CPC).
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good Customer relations.
  • Good team player.
