Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Tech Lead / Solution Architect to support a high-profile public sector engagement, focused on shaping and delivering innovative AI and Generative AI solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of emerging technology, helping to solve complex business problems through modern cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Engage directly with stakeholders to understand complex business challenges and translate them into robust technical solutions

Design and recommend AI and Generative AI solutions aligned to organisational goals

Lead the architecture and technical design of secure, scalable cloud solutions

Provide technical leadership across delivery teams, supporting best practices and high-quality outcomes

Work closely with delivery management to support agile delivery and ensure technical milestones are achieved

Conduct analysis of existing technical systems and propose improvements or enhancements

Ensure solutions adhere to governance standards, particularly within regulated/public sector environments

Support design and implementation across containerised and cloud-native environments

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

Strong experience in a Solution Architect or Tech Lead role

Deep understanding of cloud platforms, including:

AWS

Azure

Proven expertise with Kubernetes (including AKS and EKS)

Strong understanding of technical architecture concepts, including scalability, security, and resilience

Experience designing and delivering AI / Generative AI solutions or working with AI services

Ability to analyse complex technical environments and recommend strategic improvements

Experience working within agile delivery frameworks

Desirable

Prior experience working within the UK Public Sector

Familiarity with governance, security, and compliance requirements in regulated environments

Key Attributes

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences

Collaborative leader with a proactive and solution-focused mindset

Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
