Overview

167 Solutions Ltd are recruiting for a Staff Software Engineer to join a fast-scaling organisation building production-grade AI and full stack solutions.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working close to the business, solving real-world problems, and delivering solutions at pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable full stack applications
  • Develop and deploy AI-powered solutions including LLM integrations and RAG systems
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Lead rapid prototyping and production delivery
  • Contribute to architecture decisions across multiple projects
  • Mentor engineers and support technical best practice

Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience with Python and JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Experience with React, Next.js or similar frameworks
  • Cloud experience, ideally AWS
  • Experience building and deploying production systems
  • Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs or retrieval-based systems
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Desirable

  • Experience in consulting, forward deployed or product-led environments
  • Experience with CI/CD, containerisation and infrastructure as code
  • Exposure to data pipelines or multiple database types
