We are supporting aleading global technology consultancy in recruiting an experiencedSolution Architect to join its Newcastle-based capability, working across complex and secure client programmes.

This role will see you designend-to-end technology solutions, define architectural roadmaps and provide technical leadership to ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and defineend-to-end solution architectures
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Develop architectural roadmaps for systems and business services
• Produce architecture documentation usingArchiMate, UML and BPMN
• Define architectural standards, principles and technical guidelines
• Design solutions usingcloud, open-source and open-standard technologies
• Define integration approaches and architecture patterns
• Provide technical leadership to development and engineering teams
• Ensure delivered solutions conform to agreed architectural standards
• Work across bothAgile and traditional delivery environments
• Contribute to architecture best practice, innovation and thought leadership

Experience Required

• Strong experience withinSolution Architecture / Technical Architecture
• Strong understanding of architectural concepts, methodologies and frameworks
• Cloud technology experience
• Knowledge ofopen-source technologies and open standards
• Strong understanding of integration techniques and architecture patterns
• Experience withArchiMate, UML and/or BPMN
• Understanding of functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience providing technical leadership to development teams
• Strong Quality Assurance and design review capabilities
• Experience working withinAgile delivery environments
